New orange paper: Fiori security

We’ve been around SAP for a long time, we can remember back to R/3 (version 3.1h to be precise) and there’s always been one recurring theme when new innovations find their way to us; it can be hard to source detailed release notes and early documentation with an official view on how something is supposed to work and what needs to happen in order to get it to work.

Invariably, this means that the first time you’re doing something new will usually be on a client project, often under severe pressure to deliver – nothing better to get the motivation going!

The latest such innovation has been Fiori. Whilst there is good documentation available now, as the way of administering security with this is so different, there has still been a steep learning curve and we’ve written an orange paper on some of our initial observations with this. There will be plenty more to publish on this subject, but for now have a read of our technical introduction to troubleshooting some common issues as you embark on your first Fiori project.

Suggestions for future orange paper titles is welcome; if you’d like to see us tackle a complex technical subject in our informal, irreverent style, get in touch and let us know.
